The problem
Weekly pool service runs on routes, binders and phone calls. Readings were written on paper, stop codes lived in notes, and the office pieced the week back together from a field-service tool that didn’t fit how the crews actually work.
The tech app
Native iPhone, built in SwiftUI.
Everything a tech needs at the pool, in the order they need it, and nothing that waits on a signal.
The office hub
Web app, live, connected to QuickBooks.
- Every route live: who is out, how far along, and what changed today.
- Leads that sign themselves up, verify their phone and email, and book a quote visit.
- Quotes, e-signatures and the move from lead to customer, with billing set up in QuickBooks.
- A billing queue that does the routine work itself and asks a person only when it should.
How we worked
- 01Brain dump, then questionsWe start with everything the owner knows about how the week runs, then ask until nothing is fuzzy.
- 02Every screen designed before codeHigh-fidelity designs for each flow, phone-first, reviewed before anything is built. A Figma mirror of the app stays in step with every release.
- 03Built with Claude Code, reviewed by peopleSmall pull requests, each one checked, tested and merged on purpose.
- 04Shipped behind switchesNew features go live turned off, then on for one crew, then for everyone.
- 05Tested where it’s usedOn real phones, on real routes, with the office watching the other end.
Where it is now
The office hub is rolling out to the team now. The tech app is in pilot on a real route, then on to every crew.
